Rules and Regulations
Camp Latieze is provided to groups to be used for education/ retreat purposes. To ensure that the Camp is used as intended and to ensure safety of all groups and individuals using the Camp, the rules below must be followed at all times:
The group must provide evidence of insurance coverage to name Shasta County Office of Education "Additionally Insured Certificate Holder". Coverage limit is to be $1,000,000 for General Liability.
The group must provide for safe transportation of their participants to and from Camp Latieze.
The group must provide instructional staff and/or supervision for their participants.
All facilities must be left in the same condition as they were found (i.e., chairs and tables wiped off and put away, trash removed, cabin floors swept, kitchen cleaned, swept and mopped.
As Camp Latieze is owned by the County Board of Education, smoking is prohibited, and possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is also prohibited.
It is prohibited to possess or consume illegal drugs while at the Camp. The proper authorities will be notified if any illegal drugs are noticed.
The group will make itself and its members aware of and familiar with the Camp Latieze Safety Plan.
